Products manufactured from recycled waste:

PAPER

Can be used to make new books, wrapping paper, boxes for eggs, bags for cement, newsprint and flyers. Recycled paper is commonly used to make toilet paper, tissues and disposable kitchen towels. Paper represents more than 37% of landfill volume.

PLASTIC

There are many types of plastic, but in short recycled plastics can be used for irrigation pipes, flower pots, buckets, crates, toys, sheeting for the building industry, cables, carpets, packaging, refuse bags and dust bins. Mixed plastics are being recycled to make park benches, tables, storm water grates and fence poles. PET bottles such as buddy bottles, are being recycled as fibre fill for sleeping bags, duvets, pillows, jackets and carpets. Plastics can be recycled many times if the conditions in the factory are spotless.

CANS

Tins and other metals can be recycled to make new cans and the metal brackets and parts for the motor industry.

GLASS

Recycled bottles and glass can be used to make new glass bottles. Vases, dishes and decorative bowls. In fact many of the bottles we buy is made of recycled glass. It can be recycled over and over again and will always make perfect glass. Place Glass in one bag and all the other clean recyclables together in the second bag.
